the city within walking distance. A great place to go to escape

it is a lovely place, providing free BBQ facilities and numerous children's playgrounds.

There are several markets to explore about the place, but this is one of the oldest, also on South Terrace, open from Friday though to Sunday each week it is popular with locals and tourists alike.

Fremantle's fishing boat habour is the home of the freshest seafood in town. You can enjoy the taste and variety of what is on offer while you relax looking out over the water.
One of the closest havens for these and other native water birds is Lake Monger. Just 5 minites drive from the city centre many kinds of waterbirds breed and live in peace and traquility.
The Round House, Fremantle
One of the historical places to visit is this small prison built to hold unruley aboriginal prisoners before they were taken to Rottnest Island to carry out the terms of their sentences, for various crimes.
