Iguazu Falls
Iguazu falls are Imposing and majestic, in the midst of the wild landscape of untamed subtropical vegetation within Iguazu National Park, the visitor can discover marvelous natural spectacle that has been declared a World Natural Heritage Site: the Iguazu Falls. Located 17 kilometers to the south-east of Puerto Iguazu, and 22 kilometers from the point where the River Iguazu flows into the River Parana, the Falls were discovered by Alvar Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca in the year 1541, and he gave them the name Santa Maria Falls, as a homage to the Virgin Mary, protecting his expedition. They are in the area bounded by the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), which has been given the name of The Iguazu International Tourism Zone by a Special Tourist Meeting of the MERCOSUR.
Iguazu River
Having vast torrent, haughty and imposing, yet spontaneously refreshing, the Iguazu River offers its numerous visitors the fascinating picture of a conglomeration of obstacles, islets and elongated islands, breaking it up into innumerable branches. The Guarani people called it Iguazu , literally "great water", as they gazed in amazement and rapture at the immense sheet of water diving in a majestic torrent from the heights at various points along its course.
iguazu National Park

Foz do Iguaçu National Park was declared by UNESCO, in Brazil, Natural Heritage of Humanity in 1986, two years after the naming of Iguazu National Park in Argentina. The circuit is 1,200 meters long, with stairs that make it impossible to circulate in wheelchairs.
The rainforest in the Iguazu National Park offers a variety of alternatives for those who enjoy adventure tourism. Just a few meters from the research center is the Macuco Trail, a three-kilometer long footpath, with varying degrees of difficulty, through the thick forest.
