Colombo Information

Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka is the largest city of the island. Colombo is easily navigable and you can reach most of the spots easily. The North of the city, known as Fort district, is the country's business centre. The Central Bank, Departmental stores, bookshops, airline offices and many colonial landmarks are present in this area.

The main attractions of the city is the National Museum which has a nice collection of historical works, the Art Gallery and a lot of Hindu and Buddhist temples.The Dehiwala Zoo has some great variety of Fauna.

Other immediately accessible locations are Galle Face Green, which is a vast beach expanse and Mount Lavinia.
